Last year was Tom Wopat. I Didn't bother him, but it was weird to see him all old and normal, and not all young and tough

It is the biggest Mopar only show in the world.
It is basically a 100 acres filled with awesome for four days.
They had 2600 show rigs in the field last year IIRC.

Stock, everyone is judged. LOL
For me to haul parts to and from the vendors its just as far if not farther to park at the restaurant and pay $20. Even though I would love to park Old Red in next to Oli Oli my rust bucket would make anyone's ride look good.

Okay, it looks like I will be spending the car show in the vendor section this year.
My fellow Dodge freak / good friend just got a big promotion in the Navy and will not be able to make the show this year.
He gave me a couple of his vendor spots to use, and since I have not bought my show field spots yet it will save me $55 or $65.
I am bummed my Navy friend will miss the show the year, but it was really nice of him to give me his spot.
I will be in the vendor spots N-131-N-135 with several friends. I will not be vending anything as I go and try to just enjoy the show.
I will driving down in my '91.0 I call Poncho with my daughter. My friend and his daughter will be driving down in their silver 3rd gen. We will be parked in one of those spots from Thursday late afternoon - Sunday around noonish.
I look forward to seeing Tim, T-man, RAM, BHD, Chris [the guy in the viking hat] and Doug over the weekend.
I will have a cold beer waiting for you guys!
Look for the white W-250 RCLB with the teal tailgate in the vending section or the guy with the 4 FT long ponytail, with his daughter, wandering around the show.
My daughter and I are getting really excited as it is our favorite weekend of the year.

According to the map,
Directly in gate 1
3/4 way down
2nd row off the fence
Look for a derelict with long ponytail
Bring scissors.
Got ya !

Oli if you see a mid 30's somewhat attractive Mountaineer whose hairline seems to be running from his forehead walking up looking in your rigs window to see if its an auto or 5spd don't throw a wrench at me, LOL. Oli I am so stoked. Friday I went down to Lexington VA to deliver the headlight buckets and grille assembly to my 67' so body guy could mock up the front clip before painting. While there I was just in awe at the paint laid on my baby. He welded in a new cowl and inner fenders so he wanted to mock it up and adjustments prior to painting the clip. I am so excited to get it back. I brought home the complete front suspension. I have a Direct Connection BB K-member that I will be attaching a complete PST super front end kit and a SSBC disc brake conversion too before taking him the whole setup with the 440/833 attached to it. I will have my eyes on a few needed items to save on shipping. Oli anything in particular you will be looking for?

RAM,
The Cuda paint job looks great.
I know how you like your Red Mopars!
The few things I will be looking for will be a nice red 1st gen drivers side arm rest for Poncho.
Then a nice rear non tow bumper for the Gauntlet RC project. There are available from LMC, if I can't find a nice one at the show.
I am also going to buy a new reproduction Mopar '70 B body non console pistol grip shifter for it as well.
I am looking at installing it kinda like you have in your RC other than I have the shifter stub that that takes the two bolts for the Getrag in my shop already. Therefore I will not need to make the custom bracket you did…or at a least that is what I am hoping for.
Go ahead and peek in the truck window…If it is my truck, it will have a stick shifter.

I ended up putting in a Hurst 5spd ball and shifter arm. The pistol grip was cool thing but it just didn't feel right after awhile. I may end up going back and forth who knows. It does add a cool look when you look through the window. I just currently prefer the feel of ball.

I have thought about making a pistol grip Powerwagon / Power Ram or Ramcharger for about 15 years.
I am ready to give it a shot on the Gauntlet project.
I have the stock 'Rag shifter to fall back on if I don't like it.
