Wheel studs

Wheel studs
Hey guys I took my wheels off for the first time since buying my 92 W250 (dana60 front axle) and found that the previous owner cross threaded some lug nuts, therefore now some studs are broken. But at the same time I noticed that on the nuts that did come off there wasnt much thread engagement with the stud due to aftermarket wheels. So my plan is to install all new studs but here is my problem, I am having trouble finding the right size. Autozone seems to be one of the few places to offer a stock stud but i am looking for studs hat are about 1/2in longer than stock. I measured the old stud and got 1/2in-20 2.5in long and .650 knurl, the hole in the rotor/hub was .630ish. Anyone know where I can get longer studs with .650 knurl? All the places I call just recommend oversizing to a 5/8 stud. Any ideas??!! Thanks!

I changed out a few on my D250 a month ago or so as I also found out the previous owner had never heard of a torque wrench. Autozone was the ONLY place that had the correct ones. I drove to 5 different Autozone buying 1 here, 2 there ect. I also changed the lung nuts to fancy extended ones with the correct throat as the old were not the proper type for the rims.
I don't know if your going to find 1/2x20 longer than stock, at least not at a dealer or automatics store. Might try calling Jegs and Summit.

I am sure a dana/spicer dealer would have or can get the correct studs for you. To jump to a 5/8 is quite a jump and would not allow your factory rims to fit as a 5/8 stud is to large. There is a 9/16 stud also which is much more common on a 3/4 or 1 ton trucks.

The 4x4 trucks can use these longer 9/16" lugs
Dorman 610-282 WHEEL STUD, 9/16"-18
I believe this is a chevy application but their D60F uses the same size knurl in the hubs as the dodge.

9/16 studs
Wow guys thanks! The "stock" replacement I found from dorman which was advertised at a .651 knurl really measured out at a .640 but I think it should work because the hole in the hub measures a .630. As far as those 9/16 studs they look great, but im just wondering at a .658 knurl is too much larger for my .630 hole? I mean the stock stud is already .021 oversized, would that 9/16 really fit with no modification? Also I have aftermarket rims so I will have to see if the 9/16 fits with those, but thanks again everyone!
