Thumbs down to Dodge Connection

Anytime I see the 72-93 model years listed for parts I know it's not diesel specific, as it covers the years prior to the cummins diesel truck. With that i then know dodge trucks are 100,150,200,250,300,350 models. Then knowing that their are really no differences in the sheet metal between models but their are a great deal of differences in nearlly everything else the trucks have I would not assume anything.
I would then be specific in looking for parts for my truck to know that it is correct for my truck specifically wether it be a w150 or w350. After looking at their website again and seeing 2 pictures of the little red express, if I was to "assume" anything I would assume they specialize in d150 parts as that's what the little red express was built on.

Tomd I don't know why they only ship once a week but if they are like some of us that live 30 miles from town then I get the once a week shipping even if they are a business. I don't drive to town unless I need something which for me is 2-4 times a month. So to make a trip to town cost me about $10 each time I go besides my time.
I have a ups shipping account and nothing ups does is without a charge. If I print a label at the shop and opt for ups to come out and pick it up its a minimum $4 charge for that service. That same label I print at home and drop off at the ups store in town doesn't carry that charge but still has a list of charges above the flat shipping charge, they also charge for residential, extended area and fuel to name a few. It's getting hard to ship much of anything for less than $16 and not that far.

I have issues buying stuff on-line, even with a USA shipping address I still have many sellers, and companies that won't sell me stuff simply because I live in Canada, very frustrating!
I just came down to the Seattle WA yesterday so was trying to order a bunch of stuff I needed. I wanted a tooth bar set-up for the bucket on my Case skid steer. Every one I found that had pre-made bars wouldn't sell it to me because I was Canadian. So I eventually had to order shanks and teeth and will make my own.
BTW I have been running that steering brace set-up on my crewcab for 3 years now, since the 4wd conversion...was an original OEM piece, been working like a champ!

There is NOTHING, but NOTHING that compares to our Northern brothers joints.....
I would not have remained married if I still had to travel to Canada for work.

There was a utube video about Canadian "Kung Fu". The sensei says: Grasshopper, you will be a kung fu master when you can get this pea from my hand. The kung fu student says: Sensei, may I please have the pea from your hand, Sensei says: Congratulations grasshopper, you are now a kung fu master
A Canadian guy in Kino told me a local joke about Prime Minister Trudeau. It goes: A reporter asked Trudeau what his first job was, he said: "Prime Minister of Canada..." ...Mark

Thanks Deercountry. I was totally taking that under consideration after my post. One never knows who what when where and why. Still waiting for the part though.

I believe the bracket was a TSB part so it wouldn't show up in the normal parts manuals. Same with the dealer installed bed mounted trans cooler. There would have been a bulletin describing the part numbers and installation instructions.

In the 1988-1989 parts manual the part number is 4322 029; in the 1990-1993 parts manual the part number is 4447 405. The parts manager at my local Dodge dealer tells me his computer shows that 4322029 was "superceded" by 4447405, which is now obsolete with no dealer in the US shown as having one remaining in stock.
In both manuals the part is listed as:
"BRACKET, Frame Rail Steering Gear Reinforcement (Not Illustrated)"
The fact that it is not pictured in the drawings is the reason I had such trouble locating it.
I realize this info falls under the category of "Useless Information" but thank you in advance for indulging me...
