terminals

Another project I'm getting ready for is replacing my fuse links. I picked up a Crown Vic distribution box and I would prefer to install new terminals on the wires I run as opposed to splicing onto the existing ford wires. Has anyone found a source for these? In the picture I removed two wires and the ends Ford used lock into their box very nice. The regular terminals I have to the right of the wires will "push down" in the holder somewhat.

I've been searching and no luck so far.

probably find them from an on-line source somewhere. But they might be a Ford specific part?

On and off over several months, I have been unsuccessful online. The only reference to locating these has been a post on this forum about going to a Ford dealer and $6.00 each.

Someone has to sell these somewhere lol.

A little clearer photo might help.

Slightly off topic. Does anyone know a source for the terminals in the first gen fuse block.

Here are a couple of links I have used before.

https://www.waytekwire.com/

Terminal Supply Company - Wire Terminal Connectors, Relays, Crimping Tools and Much More - Home

Both links have items I have not found on any other sites. It will take time to dig threw both sites.

Just got a response back. That auction is for one only. And they cannot provide another pic. So based on the drawing, I don't think its quite right.

I work for an OEM automotive wire harness manufacturer and I can tell you that these will be very hard to find aftermarket. Most are designed for a specific connector that is used by each manufacturer. For instance, my company designs their own connectors that require our own terminals.

Also, there are so many terminals that look exactly alike until you pull out the mircometer...

If you want an nice looking fuse block I would suggest and aftermarket supplier like Waytek or this one: Del City - Electrical Supplies & Professional Grade Wiring Products

I would like to find something like this here in NA: Modular Fuse and Relay System: Polevolt Ltd

Quick Reply: terminals
