Steering box bracket broken in half!

I'm 3 hours from home at apprenticeship camp and the steering
Box bracket split in two. What can I do to get her fixed up with basic hand tools from my toolbox in the parking lot? Maybe I can get a new bracket shipped overnight to me? What do people like to do for this fix... Aftermarket stuff???

Man that sucks! I do not believe there are any reproduction brackets available. And I am not aware of any "new" aftermarket design units either.

If you could get it off, you might be able to find someone to weld it up for you tomorrow?

I will do some digging on line and see if I can find anything to help you out.

when mine broke a few years ago I bought a replacement from the dealership. As I recall the replacement was slightly thicker and appeared a little more sturdy.

I'm sorry I do not have a part number available.

Part number WAS 4333525 or 52037876

They went NS1 the winter of 2012/2013. Inventory of 900 disappeared.
There was one on ebay last week.

Youre the man, Bob.

Really cool of you. I had 2 of those brackets and i gave them to one of the dtr members here in nj. Mopar something. He never used them as far as i know, and then sold his truck. Wonder what he ever did with, them ?

Oh well. Reverse rotation was the best thin ive ever done to my brick, as ill never be in this situation
