Steerin shaft and steering box

I'm looking to replace both steering shaft and steering box and want to know who's had good luck with the 2 u joint shafts instead of the rag joint (if its worth the money to buy) and who makes a reliable steering box. I don't want to buy junk.

I've had the Borgeson shaft in both my rigs almost 15 yrs with no issues. Just be careful when you install because too deep of a set screw hole can puncture splined shaft on your new box. Lots of good info on other steering box options folks have used in the stickies Borgeson 000940 Steering Shaft

The rag joint is a vibration damper. Big plus.

The twin u-jonts suck. You Will feel every sand pebble on the road.

I looked in the sticky and I cant find anything on steering boxes. What Im wondering is should I do the crossover or reverse rotation now while my trucks apart. Im just looking for the best way. My truck has a little 2 in lift in the front rancho springs.

I've read over these articles and can't decide what might be the best choice. It's going to be a daily driver and more. Any opinions on the best option to go here? I have rancho springs in the front which gives it about a 2 in lift. I just don't want to buy something and then later change my mind

If I end up doing more of a lift on my truck is it still possible to keep the reverse rotation steering design?

Yes, the reverse rotation set up is better than the stock setup in every way.
you can get a raised steering arm for the axle or a spacer block. and have very close to factory specs on the drag link.

My truck has the RRSG on it.

There is 4'' in between the springs and the bump stops. No spacer block, any higher it would be a good call.
