Somewhere in Banff
Short section of the casier highway; only gravel the whole trip
Coming down the Chilkoot pass into Skagway grade wasn't posted but I've heard it's close to 12%(I won't argue with that number; its STEEP) for 5-6 miles
We made it!!! On the ferry from Skagway to Juneau; about 5 hours.
We hiked out the Mendenhall glacier
Then had our fair share of beverages by this bad boy.(never seen wet wood burn as well as the stuff here)
Took dad out fishing on the boat yesterday and he caught this 45" Halibut; only fish of the day.
Nice ride back to Auke bay.
Lots of 1st gen trucks up here; even the gassers.
Dad got on the plane this moorning so I guess...

Sweet trip, Glacier and the rockies north of the border are on our bucket list, next year is Yosemite and Sequoia, My Dad took us on month long trips out west and I did the same with my kids when they were at home....nothing and i mean nothing replaces memories, i love to travel, thanks for posting about your trip.
