Overall, I think OP's problem is that he is obsessed with upgrading his turbo. That's the whole problem either way. Original turbo was performing better.
Far more (free) options to make power on a 93 than replacing the unbroken factory turbo right off the bat. From what I read, he hasn't even adjusted to fuel pin or fuel screws? Am I reading that correctly?
IMO...
First- fill out your sig so that we can see what is actually done to the truck
Then- boost and pyro gauges so that you can see a bit of what is happening.
Next- BHAF, exhaust, and fuel screw/fuel pin tweaks (both free)
30 psi on the stock turbo and injectors is easily doable and with safe EGT's. Only after this is done and you are running right and still need more should you be looking at injectors and a turbo.
My advise would be to go back to your original turbo and properly upgrade. No more "the gauge is on the way". My response... "great, don't touch anything until it's installed."

My feeling as well.
Which after trying to explain that he is changing turbos for no reason, other he "thinks" he needs more air, is not a good enough reason for me.
Which after ignoring my several attempts at help / suggestions, I gave up.
Put on gauges and get some info. or go ahead and tune blindly and throw cash at "problems" that you think exist.

I put in an HE351CW a little while ago and all I know is I sure like it compared to the stock turbo. The stock was laggy as heck and I could only get 18 psi out of it with Denny T and pump turned up. I push 36 with the HE351CW with stock injectors. Haven't really pulled anything yet, but in West TX mountains and getting on it a bit, I haven't seen over 1200 EGT. I did install the 4" turbo back exhaust and BHAF at the same time as the turbo so I don't have that comparison to the original.
I had to read a bunch on this forum to make sure I understood installation correctly. Wasn't that bad at all when it came down to it.

I put a Chinese HX35 on my non I/C , and it has better response, and pulls better. Fuel screw has never been touched. Still getting 23MPG at 70-75 MPH . Been on there around 6 months. It's not a Holset, but it works for me.
