Oil Pan thread

Can someone tell me if there really is a difference in oil pans for a 4x4? I'm looking around on ebay and it tells me "NOT for a 4x4" truck? I would think they're all the same, no?

Ebay is full of stuff like that.
If there is a difference I can't see it. the dana60 clears my 2wd pan the same as the 4x4 pan the axle came out of.

The one on Genos seems different.

Yeah those two are different for sure. The sump on the one on evilbay is longer and the drain plug is on the side.I don't think it would work on a 2wd first gen either. You really have to watch buying parts on ebay

Bet it is second gen.
