nv4500 questions

Hey yall. Just poking around before I head to my local slush box. I recently did some swapping and got rid of my built 47rh for a built nv4500. It came with a south bend dual disc that I had rebuilt to better than new. My question is how would I know how good of shape the nv is in myself. The guy said he just went through it a few months back and changed the syncros and forks. It seems to have a good solid sound when I shift through the gears. Has new rvt on all the areas where it should be if it was torn apart. I put it in any gear and grab input and output shafts and turn them against each other with no play. Is there any help yall could give me on anything else I could look at before I spend the money at the transmission shop.

mainshaft thrust is very important, ill check spec, sems like I remember .003-.009" theres a magnet on the inside pto cover inspect for larger debris, 5th gear needs mainshaft upgrade, slotted for locking gear from popping off, synchros are composite clutch like wearing material, require a special lubrication for this transmission, lots of info at advance adapters, or quad 4x4
