Well, I guess you never know what you get. That 580 had bad sleeves which trashed the bearings inside the case 580 207D engine. $1200 later and it purs like a kitten again. Need to re-tighten the head back down and do an oil change. Really hurts when people tell you one thing and it is not true.

A backhoe is really useful so I would really look into getting one. If you do, I hope you don't go through my mess




I wouldn't second guess a skidsteer though. Capable machines.

yeah a back hoe would be sweet....but I think a skid steer is more in my budget.

You can do a lot with a skid steer. you just have to go at it differently.
