Moog 7226s

Just ordered new coils from summit racing. I ordered the 7226s I know they will lift the front up a couple inches and that's what I am looking for. Just wondering who else has put them in. Why size tires can you clear? How's the ride? Any tips for the install? Thanks

They will settle once they "break-in" after a bit.

With the stock sagged coils, the stock 235/85R16 made fender contact once or twice and folded in the area the marker light sits in.

With the 7226s coils, the fenders are safe for that tire size once again.

Got them in yesterday. Am I going to need a spring compressor?

You can just leverage them into place with a floor jack under the lower control arm. (with BJ disconnected from the steering knuckle of course.)

What he said

EDIT: snapped a pic of my truck yesterday with the 7226s coils. They are 4 years old now, 2nd truck they've been in, maybe 10,000km total. Those are 235/85R16 Michelins (approx 30% left) on stock steel wheels. Rides like a Cadillac, IMO.
