I don't know anything about the M&H but I run a DennyT stage 2 in my 2 trucks. For $105.00 delivered it's hard to beat. The performance is great and you will notice it immediately after you install it. Good luck with your truck.

I run the number 2 in my rc. It is a great improvement over the stock pin turned to the deep setting. The convex profile alows for yunable smoke. With the screw all the way down, lots of smoke...I lost an H2 hummer behind me at a stoplight once. with the screw turned up two rotations from that setting, it only smokes when I want it.

I run a m2 in one truck and the m3 in another and they are both great at limiting low end smoke/fueling but still allowing max fueling once the turbo is spooled. Which at higher elevations, or for a truck used for towing is IMHO ideal. The m5 or the dennyT pin would be good for a drag or play truck though.

The M2 looks like my BD pin. I was able to tune out virtually all the low end smoke, provided I go easy on the skinny pedal at low boost levels.

What does each pin profile do as far as across the range performance.
I am trying to establish information so others can compare and choose a pin profile suitable for a particular application.

I believe all the m&h pins allow the same amount of fuel under full boost. The shorter the "slope" is from the bottom of the pin to were you get full fuel the faster you are going to be at full power. With a longer "slope" you aren't going to get full fuel until you have more boost which will help to reduce or eliminate bottom end smoke. With a short "slope" you are going to get full fuel at very low boost levels, which will increase smoke and egt's at lower rpm or when towing if you do not have enough air to properly burn the fuel you are getting. Your smoke screw, star wheel, and fuel screw adjustments will also have a large affect on how much smoke, egt's, and power that you are going to see with each fuel pin.
In short, the shorter the "slope" of the fuel pin, the more smoke, heat, and bottom end power you are likely to see.

exactly, one thing i have noticed is that when you add tomuch fuel without the air to burn it you kind of put the fire out with too much fuel.

I still have the original H1C. Is this going to become an issue if I go ahead with my other mods? BHAF, 4", 190s, 366.

What kind of "issue"? Also depends on how you use you're truck?

Not enough air for the mods. My truck is a working truck so it commutes, hauls, and tows. Sometime very heavy over a long distance.

You can throw as much fuel as you want at the engine, but you'll only be able to use as much as you have air available to keep it cool. So just because you have 400hp of fuel available, you may only be able to use 250hp worth of it while towing, and have the engine survive.

For example on my truck I have enough fuel that makes about 30lbs of manifold pressure, but while towing I can only keep cool about 20lbs. So I have lots more fuel I could use, but due to egt's I choose not to. You just have to watch you're guage and back off the fuel.

I would not even consider the injectors until after the other things and upgraded the turbo.
