I have spent some time looking around for a new drive plate for the A/c clutch in my truck (Sanden SD709 compressor). Two of the drive straps are broken, but the compressor works great, so I was hoping to replace the drive plate with the compressor still in the truck. The first problem is, I cannot find a new plate or clutch anywhere! It is getting to the point where I am thinking of buying a re-man unit just to steal the drive plate off of it, but then I am worried about getting stuck for shims, not to mention the money. Does anyone know where I can order the parts I need?

And, please remember, I am in something of a backwater, so "going to the local" rebuilder, a/c shop, etc. isn't an option.

Alec, do you have a picture of what you need?
I have a 1st gen A/C compressor or two in the shop.
