injector swap

Just finished installing DDP Stage III injectors. After first test drive I was impressed. Had to back out the smoke screw all the way and raise the AFC spring about six turns, and still it rolls coal. Egt's are off the gauge if I hold down too long and I consistently am seeing 42 pounds boost at WOT. I am afraid to turn on the boo9st cooler pump for fear of lifting the head. My old Red Oaks injectors would hit 36 pounds without Water Meth and hit 42 pounds with it on. Don't know what horsepower I am at but it is an improvement.

It is now time to do something with the head bolts. I am wondering how much added boost I can get away with by:
1: retorqueing the OEM head bolts.
2: Replacing the head bolts with 12mm studs.
3: O-ring the head and use 14mm studs.

Changed the fuel filter and got another pound of boost. 43 psi and no drugs. Hope to find a dyno somewhere in Hampton Roads that accommodates diesels.

O-ring head with 12mm studs will easily handle 60 lbs. IDK about 14mm studs - a good bit more I would imagine.

Thanks, I doubt that I can get much more than that unless I invest in twins. Thinking about a turbo upgrade. Hx40 with the ford super duty cooler and 3 inch plumbing.
