Ok I'm kinda new into turbos but I'm learning lol. Can somebody inform me what a hx35/40 hybrid is please. Because I have a hx35 that I just got rebuilt or do I need a hybrid?

hybrid uses an hx-40 compressor wheel and housing, hx-35 center and exhaust side. you have to machine the backing plate of the center section for the 60mm wheel. you can buy a wheel and housing new for around $200. its a good, cheap upgrade. ive ran them and like them

Im runnin the hx35 and love it! she gets up on the pipe right now! my truck is a work horse, not a play toy.
Buddy of mine is runnin an f350 with a ve pump 12v in it 6 speed and he has the hx40 not converted but the hx40 he runs way higher boost numbers at lower rpms than my hx35.He seems to cool alot better tooo but hes got the ford 6.0 I/C idunno I would sure like to hear some opinions on the differance from a memeber that knows more about the CTD;'s and turbos than me cause im still learnin myself...love these CTD's!
