Getting My Cruise To Work
'93 W250 - Ever since I got it this spring, the cruise has not worked. The speedometer works, as does the horn (so the clockspring should be fine, right?), and all of the needed parts are intact.
The "Set - Accel - Decel" switch feels like it is bad. Is there a way to test it?
Outside of that, I don't know what else to diagnose.

If you search around on this board, or other 1st Gen forums there is a copy of the diagnostic procedures from the Factory Service Manual (FSM). It is not a complete diagnosis, but should get you started.
Better yet if you have a FSM look at the cruise control section and follow the tests in there. I have done this 3 times....replaced every part except the the PCM...and my system still does not function 100% correct. Works, but slowly accelerates and sometimes violently accelerates for no discernible reason.
