Getrag 360 transmission temps

How many of you have gauges on your getrags and what kind of temps do you see? I just did a set of Fast Coolers and I'm running RP 10/40 5qts- RP Syncromax 2qts 7 total. Trans shifts like butter.
I am running a autometer 2640 gauge. Empty I see around 125*, when I'm loaded I run around 16k total GVW (truck/camper/trailer/jeep) I see 150*-165* with 70* ambient air temp. This is towing in 5th through rolling hills/flats anything that starts to lug she gets 4th.

I recently installed a gage ( el cheapo $20 ), on my rag. I run 15/40 amsoil , fresh rebuild. I have trans coolers from genos. my temps are 160 /empty, 200+/ loaded at 95* ambient, probably 1500 miles on rag

My trans has about the same miles on a rebuild. Looks like were pretty close when you take into account the ambient temp.

Anywhere from 140-200 degrees. I don't like anything much above 200 but depending on your oil 225 may be a reasonable upper end.

Do you have transmission cooler plates installed on the PTO covers?

Modern oils

With modern synthetics 250* should not be a problem, probably quite a bit more I would imagine

Update on this. Made a run last weekend with my normal load 16K GVW, it was 100* air temp and I never saw over 180* on the trans. Thats towing in 5th till I had to drop a gear due to EGT. Seems the RP and Fast coolers are doin the job.
