Fuel Tank Check Valve??

That is my standard fuel bleeding technique for things like after lift pump swaps, tank removals, new fuel line installs, fresh motor installs or firing up a 12V on the shop floor.
I just crack open the bleeder above the fuel filter and add a bit of air to the fuel filler neck from the shop compressor.
When I see it making the bleeder wet, I close it and I got to cracking injectors using the LP for the final priming.
Once those are bled, I just fire it up.

Used a 1 gallon Hudson Sprayer to find my leak.
Connected a tee to the sprayer hose and added a 0-10 psi gauge.
Next added another tee to the first tee with a 1/4" and 5/16" hose connections.
With the tank out of the truck I connected the hose connections to the supply and return lines at the tank.
Pumped the Hudson Sprayer up to 8.7 psi and let it sit overnight.
The next day with a 3' x 5' cardboard on the ground the leak could be seen.
It was a 1/16" vacuum line connected to a tee in the line between the tank and lift pump.
Fixed the leak and let it sit another day with the sprayer pressure showing no leak.
Put the tank back with 100% biodiesel and the next day it started right up with no problems.
