Front end work

So my truck haso 470k on it I want to get the old drive train rock solid again.

I know I need a new stearing gear box and might do the retrofit mod but I need to buy all new front end components .. was thinking of leveling the truck while I'm at it. Everyone recommend moog for all the components. What all should I order to make her rock solid. Also probably should order Springs and shocks wheel bearings for the rear end as well. So I guess what I'm asking is tell me how to blow this money hahah!

I am knee deep in mine right now. I was cleaning up the axles and noticed I need axle seals.Thought I would escape that.
I bought a kingpin kit from ventures.
KING PIN BEARING SEAL REBUILD KIT BUSHING SPRING AND UPPER KINGPIN DODGE DANA 60 - Ventures Truck Parts
while you are in there I would get two of these.SPINDLE BEARING AND SEAL KIT DODGE W300 DANA 60 FRONT 1975 TO 1993 - Ventures Truck Parts
I would also replace the axle universal joints. I am going to use the non greasable Spicer life joints this time.DANA SPICER SPL55-3X If you like the greasable better SPL55-4X.

I used National wheel bearings on my rear because they have a three year warranty. Timken was six months.

I completely rebuilt the front end of my old d350 several years ago. Got some heavy duty coil springs that leveled the front with the back and made it look like a 4x4 which was nice. But i went cheap on the parts which was a huge mistake. Get Mogg or equivalent parts. Worth every penny.

check the drag link and the couplings between the steering gear and the column both are rebuildable.

I just went through this. I used Moog tie rod ends, new moog drag link, new wheel bearings and races, new U joints for the front axle (spicer life joints nongreaseable). There are some needle bearings for the front axle that you will need too, and some bushings. Kingpin parts I got from spicer.

Be careful ordering parts from Rock auto if you don't know what the parts look like. there are some listed that are not the right parts. Also there is no complete kits listed only partial kits.
