Fair Price for Replacing all Pump Seals

After I changed over to the piston pump, the VE is leaking real bad on the Governor Shaft. I done some searching on here and after taking the pump off and while removing the governor shaft you have to worry about the governor weights. I called the pump shop in Augusta, GA and they quoted me $400 to replace all the seals in the pump since others will leak and callibrate it on the flow bench for truck pulling. Is this a reasonable price? I thought it was a little high. The advised me to not do it myself since the governor weights may still fall off even tipping it on its end. I think its too precise of a job for me to tackle.

Yes. I was quoted $300 + parts required about two years ago.
