Good luck friend... you might be able to get the one you have reprogrammed. It is I crap shoot if they can or can't ... I was told by 2 different parts stores that it is around 70% chance the old ones can be reprogrammed... anyway there's lots of guys on here that part out stuff all the time just watch out for junkyard rats and rates so to speak

May I ask how you know you need a new ECM?

we don't have an ECM nothing on the motor is controlled by a computer. We do have an Power control module that controls the charging, cruise control, and one or 2 outer things

Ken is correct. That '93 will have a PCM which controls O/D ,if it is an auto truck, cruise, and a few other items. It is basically a fancy voltage regulator. ECMs came on '98.5 24Vs and up Cummins motors

I know I have a spare 5 speed PCM in my shop, but don't have one for a auto '93.
PM me if you would like.

Oh, and welcome to DTR!

ECM could also mean Electronic Control Module so not incorrect. ECM, ECU, PCM are all pretty interchangeable terms.

I would also like to know why you think you need a PCM. You may have another issue or there may even be a work around. So post up why you're looking for one.

The dodge service manual calls it an engine control module
