fuel drain back

I just changed out my injector pump and installed a new raptor stock replacement lift pump. Now the fuel drains back into the tank and wont start. It is parked on a slight hill facing up hill and the lift pump is having a hard time getting suction. anyone know where I could be getting air into the system?
