As a commercial truck driver I have driven in some nasty winter storms.....I like trucks that you can shut off the headlights, and just run off the ambers. Having those amber front driving lights look pretty sweet!

Good to know; it was actually a Nunavut trucker who turned me on to these Rigid ambers.
He mentioned no matter how white lamps are claimed to be as useful as ambers, he finds ambers give him better contrast & less eyestrain on snow/ice covered roads & the hypnotic flakes that we are all too aware of 5 months a year up here :-)

Yeah that vertigo you get from the white headlights flashing off those flakes....really hate that. The amber sure helps, a few times I've even shut off the headlights completely.

So I replaced the grids with a pair from a long standing local TDR member...



and dumped in a PDR intake with a ProDry filter.


Dang thing wooshes at idle, whistles from 2psi up, and screams above 10. Hard pull EGTs are down about 100f, and idle EGT down from 400 to about 350.
