1st Gen at Public County Auction
Hi all,
A nice 1993 W250 Getrag truck is for sale at county auction in Sacramento. Crashnzuk has been working and maintaining this truck for the past 20 years or so. Low miles, but high hours to be sure.
Nothing wrong with it, except for the noted frame cracks. Will be a good candidate for a reverse rotation steering box.
Just wanted to let the 1st gen crowd know about this deal. We have wondered when they would finally let this old steed go. They recently took delivery a fleet of new Fiat pickups so this one needed to go.

Yes miles are accurate and speedo and odo have always worked per Travis/Crashnzuk. It lived most of its life at the Sacramento Airport. Yes I believe it has a Powr lok in the rear.
It also has the 8" tall beefy frame as it is a 1993 W350.

Whoa........ I shouldn't have looked at that one.
If it goes for under 10K I will be shocked.
Most of us rust belt guys would shoot someone to find one that nice.
I wonder what a flight from O'hare to Sacramento costs?

Oli you read my mind. I would love to have that bumper on my RC.
Patdaly that's a $12k to $15k truck in my neck of the woods all day long. 5spd, W350 single wheel, accessories! The only thing holding it back is its not a CC nor does it have power. You never see things like that on the East Coast. Oh wait, my dads 92 he bought new only has 70K on it.

Aaarrrgggg!! If only I had $15k burning a hole in my pocket...
I wonder if they'd take body parts in trade.
Anyone know what the going rate on a kidney is? Or maybe an arm or leg...wait a minute...I'll need all of my arms and legs to drive stick. Dang!!

at 13 years later, and half the miles of what my hard to find totaled truck came to me with back then, and all the work I put in, to roll to Harleys 100 year anniversary, this is the sweet deal that needs little, I wish I had found. im flipping 400k this summer, with untold lost miles, speedo, only my rear axle knows for sure, ive got 3-15k plus summer- 6 week tours, and still accumulating, I would have loved finding that truck.

I remember seeing that truck last year when my wife flew to Missouri. I remember thinking It looked sort of out of place there.

Me Likey.....
Colemax is the high bidder today @ $7400
I'd throw $10k at it if I had the extra. Would be an ideal candidate for a full resto.

Hey guys, I'm Travis, aka Crashnzuk. Some may know me from other forums, I use the same screen name pretty much everywhere now. I've been around this truck since it was new, if anyone wants to know specifics about this truck, feel free to ask. Despite the low mileage, she isn't a cream puff. It has been a work truck for Sacramento airport equipment maint and has been used by everyone in the shop at one time or another (about 10 employees give or take). With that said, it is a very solid truck that isn't beat to death either. It was taken out of service less than 2 months ago and I would think it should be capable of driving anywhere in North America without worry. If you have questions, ask away.

Hey Travis
Nice of you to offer.
So is the gear adapter plate cracked or is it the frame itself ?
Ever have a clutch replaced ? 10 drivers, usually has a slider grinder in that group?.
Was Hillary Clinton ever a driver ? Of so, I'm not interested anymore
