hard to start in the am,fuel leaking back?

hard to start in the am,fuel leaking back?

my injection pump leaks from the rubber cab beside the power screw,,it still has all its power but now it acts like my fuel is loosing its prime and its getting worse could the lrak at the pump be the cause or is it something else,,,any help would be greatly appreciate,,,thanks

The pin that rides on the AFC cone/pin is leaking. You have to remove the top of the pump, and then remove the AFC lever, to replace the o-ring that seals that pin. I would take the pump off of the truck and do a complete re-seal, given the option.

thanks for your info alec i really appreciate it,,,do you think that is the problem making it hard to start after it sits for a while,,,maybe letting the fuel drain back or something.....
