Slow to warm

Trucks been sitting for several months & finally got it out yesterday & after an hour & 70 mph it still read 140* & was not getting heat from the HVAC. Figure its the thermostat, any other ideas ?

Check coolant level, if it is ok then go after the t-stat.

Heater core could be plugged - check the heater hoses and see if either (or both) are hot. If neither is hot, then think thermostat.
