Oil Pump Bolts, and Gear Case Bolts
Did any of you guys re-torque the oil pump bolts beneath the front gear case cover when doing the killer dowel pin repair? I am assuming they are oil pump bolts. There are two of them I believe, near the oil pump gears at the bottom of the case. I did not touch them when doing my KDP repair and was wondering if I should have, or if they have ever fallen out or given trouble.
I did, however, tab and locktite the KDP, and blue locktite and re-torque the other case bolts beneath the cover.
Inside the cover, I locktited and re-torqued a total of six bolts. There was the case bolt beside the KDP, two case bolts beneath the cam gear, two cam gear thrust washer bolts, one case bolt above one of the oil pump gears. Are there any that I have missed inside the cover?
