Question injector heigth / depth

hi
installing a New head on rebuilt short block .

how do i determine what copper washer thickness to use to get injectors to correct depth ?

stock .020 os pistons

I heard to run the thinnest ones when you have advanced the timing.... so that's what I did. Theory is it attempts to put the injector spray back in the piston bowl.

Not sure on the exact thickness but yes I also use one of the thinnest copper washers they make. I don't recall what the service manual states but you can run a much thinner washer without issue.

my original head had .060 thick washers .

how do you determin what thickness it is to have ?

must be a guide somewhere how to size the washer thickness?
