Filling old red with gasoline

I was on the phone and apparently forgot which truck I was in because I went from 1/4 tank diesel to 1/4 diesel and 3/4 gasoline. Truck was idling bad and died once but restarted until I got to my destination 30 miles away and shut it off. It would not restart so I assumed I had filled up with bad diesel. I removed the fuel cap to see if I could smell anything different about the diesel that might be bad and sure enough I smelled gasoline. I siphoned out five Home Depot buckets full and added five gallons of diesel and it started right up. So the 12 valve will run on approximately 50/50 mix with no issues but will not start consistently on a 75/25 mix. I am assuming I can dump one of the 75/25 mix Home Depot buckets back in after I fuel up the next five times to use it up. Does anyone see a reason why I should not do that? I hope the knowledge obtained from this incident of stupidity will help someone down the line.

The gasoline content does reduce the lubricity of your fuel- and even in the P-Pump the pump elements are lubricated by fuel. So you will add a lot of wear there.
If I recall it correctly the Bosch specs for the P-Pump is at max 5% gasoline as a cold weather additive.

I don't know if all the seals and hoses will like the gas or will deteriorate.

Do you think I should add some two stroke oil or something to counteract what is in the tank now?

If it was my 12V, I would not be running high levels of Gasoline through my motor on purpose.
Why risk ruining a $1200 injection pump to use up less than $100 in fuel.
You made a mistake, by adding Gas to your truck.
I would think running it on a heavy gas/diesel blend on purpose would be another mistake.
