Engine run on
I have a '97 2500 auto 4x4, and I'm a member of the replaced solenoid club. When I turn off the key, the engine runs on. It use to be for about 5-6 seconds. It's now up to 20. Is this a simple adjustment to the plunger on the solenoid? Am I replacing a solenoid?? Any help, as always is appreciated.

Back in the spring, I noticed that when I shut off the key, there was a slight delay before the engine shut off. It started to happen more frequently.
I opened the hood and tried to manually move the linkage on the injector pump. It was sticky. I worked it back and forth a few times while spraying some penetrating oil on it.
Haven't had a problem since.
