Dang Fan Shroud... Fan Clutch Help?
Okay, so I'm trying to put on a new fan clutch, and I'm in my garage where there's not the best of lighting.
I've gotten the 4 bolts out of the fan shroud, and it's loose. How do I get this sucker out of here? Do I need to take out the bolts on the back of the clutch, or take out the bolts that go to the pulley, and take the fan and shroud out as a whole, or is there something I'm missing?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Tryin to get this all done tonight before work at 5 tomorrow morning.
It'll be nice getting some power back, and not having people say my plane is ready for takeoff...

Shouldn't have to remove the shroud, per Infidel, crack loose the 37 MM LH hub nut and roll the fan assy out sideways, Pass side I believe. I would lay money that if he said it is the way to go, it is.........

I've only had a couple of these off...
The fan and clutch spin off the hub as an assembly.
Threads are reverse, use a hammer on the wrench to shock it loose. Once you get it off, you can sneak it out the passenger side easiest.
If you absolutely can't get it off, you can remove the four 10mm bolts that hold the fan support to the block. One of them is obstructed by the pulley, so it's a pain but it can be done. Never had to do it that way, though.
