215 or 235 tire?
I am shopping for new tires. I can go with either the 215/85/16 stock or the 235/85/16; i don't want to go any bigger. The only reason to go bigger is to gain around 150 or so rpm drop but I can get a killer deal on the 215/85/16's for $741 out the door on the vehicle...this is for six tires. Otherwise it will be a minimum of $1000.
I do have a 4.10 rear which keeps me at 70 or so driving highway
What would you do?
Thanks

If it was mine, if I towed heavy, I would keep the smaller tires in an effort to keep my overall gear ratio low. If my vehicle was mainly a highway cruiser, I would consider moving to the larger tire in an effort to offset the lower gear ratio the truck currently has.

That would be my logic as well. It really depends on how you plan to use the truck.
