I was considering the same kind of thing. I'd like to build a new headlight assembly that keeps the RAM front glass the same but replaces the rear reflector and headlights themselves with something like thos in the new Crossfire with projector style lights.

If I had the time I might attempt it, but I have too many other things going at the moment.

Keep us informed!

For those 2003 owners not satisfied with the headlight output here is a web site that might be of interest:

http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/tech.html

I haven't had time to check for voltage drop but I'll bet there is some with the use of 18 ga. wire. I e-mailed DAn Stern and received an immediate reply (on a Sunday). He recommends Sylvania Xtravision 9007 XV (pink package) or equivalant. I may try the relay set up, too. It makes sense to me.

Yeah i've thought about this too. You could take a set of Audi RS6 HID projectors and install them inside our light housings. To crack open the lamp housings, you'd have to put them in the oven for a little bit, then pull them apart. There is more information how to do this on www.hidforum.com

Ultimately, the best solution would be a set of Sylvania Xenarc HID conversion lenses. They already have them for Ford and Chevy, but not us. I emailed them and am awaiting a response to see if they will be producing them for our trucks. Maybe if enough people email them, they will consider it. Their website is http://www.sylvania.com/xenarc/prodinfo.htm
