My favorite are the Abody 67-69 flavor. I owned a 70 E body 318 slap stick, but because I was a young-un and no brains, I disassembled it, and sold it for parts.
Today I just dream about my old ride I used to have, and vow someday to have another.... when life gives it a chance to happen.
This was mine nearly 30 years ago, but long since gone. B-5 blue with pearl white interior, buckets center console. Orig a 6 banger and died with it's 340 being given to another car.... from what I understand, anyway..

NJT, nice ride. People always ask me why I will never sell my toys. Its for the exact reason you stated. What we sell today we regret tomorrow.
Farmhand, it does suck for our rides living in the rust belt.

Nice pic NJT
Too flat in the background to be close to the mountain state. I am thinking Iowa or maybe Kansas. Definitely a man not afraid of the DOT, LOL! I would be a little weiry of towing heavy with one wheel though. Too much swaying coming down the mountains for my taste
A little easier to tow I guess with no hills to climb, but I have to say the wind would cause the swaying to be much worse.

WV the rust belt -- LMFAO!
And I grew up on Gobbler's **** between Herold & Strange Creek. Rust is nothing there compared to here . . .
Sorry -- just couldn't let that go.

Good point. The further up North you go the longer the salt is spread. But WV is considered part of the rust belt and/or salt belt to be exact to what we are referring it to.

Well its not the most weight I have towed with her but it had me squatting pretty good. Anytime I can haul scrap away from work I take the freight train in with my Eager Beaver to work, load it up, and haul it away
Funny as I had two coworkers (Ford owners) saying I was crazy. I told them both when they want to actually tow weight they should trade in the new toys for a mans rig.

Nothing wrong with that "perk"....
I've been trying to get my employer to let me take the occasional forklift battery. They usually just call some scrap guy to come and take them away. A 2500 lb lead acid battery....I'll make that go away.

I don't get to scrap those at $.30 a pound on a 2,850lb battery the $850 (give or take) apiece payout is to hard for them to turn down, LOL
