Valvestem leaking

I dropped my canvass rugby bag with my clothes in it out of my bed and hit my valve stem and now it is leaking. Did i break the valve stem or is it fixable?

Sounds like you might have one of those "Top Quality" Chinese manufactured valve stems that were recalled a few months ago.

You'll need to get it replaced.

Make shure a high pressure stem is installed and not one for automobile pressures.

X2--use only full metal stems.

I did something similar on my rv. I was hooking up and noticed a dirt dauber had built a mud nest on the side of a rim. I used my foot to step on it and break it off, and when it gave way, my foot slid down and bent the stem over and tore it off. Just then I realized how stupid that was, but the air still gushed out.
