TX DTR #8--August Meet

How about Saturday afternoon August 8th, into the night and Sunday morning/early afternoon?? Come and go as you please. My house and back yard. Grill will be running...with my burgers and/or whatever else you want to bring. BYOB. If you want to spend the night, bring your own bedding/air mattress. Bring your own lawn chair.

Light Wrenching/BS meet and GTG.

I'm in!

AND.....Let's hear it for Texas Governor, Rick Perry!!
He said today, he will not accept Federal Health Care leglistration for Tx... if it passes!
Says it is his right, as he understands States Rights... under the 10th Amendment.

He's got my vote! Oh wait, I'm on the wrong side of the Red River!
I need to follow Diesel Dan and get back to Texas!!

Kurt we will be glad to have you. And if Max comes...that brings us up to 6 so far. Im sure others will come.

I forgot to mention it in the first post, but Aug. 5th is my birthday. So I kinda consider this also a small, quiet, birthday party. No need for gifts, I didn't mention it for that. I just want you to come if you can and have a quiet (I do have neighbors) good time.

It's also a 'welcome back home to TEXAS', Diesel-Dan party.....assuming he can make it.

Take the day off from work.....but don't tell the wife..... problem solved.

"sorry honey, I couldn't get off. You go ahead and have a good time in Lubbock" "I'll stay here and work"....

Besides, what hours do you work? You can come in the evening when you get off (if you work days)......or come in the afternoon before you go in....or come late at night if you work evenings.
