Trip to Oklahoma

Any good places to refuel on I 35 between North Texas and Norman, Ok? I'm on a whirlwind trip to OU tomorrow.

I usually hit the Love's or Flying J in Ardmore as the prices are generally cheaper than what I find in Dallas. But it wasn't the case last weekend, everything was about the same prices.

Plenty of Love's stations along the path, some nicer than others. But most do a fair amount of truck traffic to keep the fuel turning over.

Between Dallas and OKC... general rule is the farther north you go ... the lower the price.
Flying J in OKC was $2.539 yesterday.
Ardmore....Exit 33... was $2.559

Love's prices, in OK, vary greatly from station to station... in my experience.

Got back last night. I ended up stopping at the Love's in Paul's Valley on the way back.

RJ,

My fuel economy varies due to my driving styles and settings with the Smarty. Yesterday driving up to Norman running between 70-75mph with a few slow downs for Dallas and road construction on I35 in OK I ended with exactly 21mpg. Smarty set to level 1 with the Van Aaken off. On the way back I drove like a wild man so it's going to be less (I haven't refueled yet to calculate).

My average for around town is about 17mpg and at least 20mpg highway (most of the time). Towing it's been between 10mpg to 15mpg.

My mileage has been dropping, my trip back to school with a bed full of junk and a cross wind was around 16.8 , recent unloaded trip to Lubbock was 19.2 . I fear my injectors are getting tired, mileage has been going down. I have calculated 23-24 out of her before.
