I have a '93 NP242. I think you'd have to swap input shafts though.

Some people's register drawer is left open and collects nothing but dust.

Good supper - - ice cream and ph00 on the lanai in the moonlight with a purdy blonde - - couple Oreos - - crickets -- two big owls in the tree right beside the pool hooting with me -- what a hoot. Gorgeous out there as the full moon comes up and lights up the area. Was a pleasant respite after a hectic day.

OK, gonna go read the paper and sit back a bit a unwind. See ya,

Bob

does that go in far enough to have the oil seals seal ?
do you have the linkage for the transfer case also ?
if not there is an issue with it going in to low range

Ask Aaron, he took it out. I think the linkage went with the tub. I believe there is a difference in spline count between the two, case should match.

Between the two of you, there ought to be enough parts left over to make an entire new Jeep!

I have the engine, tranny, and some axles too. I was gonna convert the original tub to diesel, until I found some extra rust I didn't want to contend with, and scrap was up.

You really should do something with your 5.9 before all the seals dry up or rust forms where you really wouldn't want it to.
