Sucking Air???

I'm having a problem with my fathers '00 2500, he was headed home on it 3 days ago and it just died wouldn't start back so we got it home changed the filter ( didn't look too bad), Checked the lift pumpwhile the filter canister was open, seemed ok there, still nothing. Cracked open three of the injector lines, nothing, bleed them til truck started, all three were pumping strong. tightened lines and thought all was fine til yesterday, same thing happened. rebleed and truck started checked lines for leaks and didnt see anything and i know just because you cant see it doesn't mean its not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not much to go on, but if you are getting a strong sucking noise it could be one of the intercooler boots. I've seen the one on the passenger side come off quite a bit. What is/was the boost pressure?

Pressurize fuel tank with LOW PRESSURE. ( 4 lbs or so ) look/listen for leaks.

Probably up front by the fuel pump/filter.

Sounds like a bad LP...They can be running and generate no pressure. I would start there.
