Being that the angles in the tubing are coped rather than bent I would say that these can be made relatively easily with a few simple tools (welder and chop saw). I made something similar for my jeep out of 1 3/4" HREW tubing but for door/rocker protection more than a step. Pardon the rust, guess I drove around too long with them in bare steel..
