SRW or DRW 3500

Hi everybody,i'm new to the site and i need your help to decide on SRW or DRW.I pull a 28' tag race car trailer w/2500 lb car plus equipment.I know the DRW will probably pull better but i'm not sure if i want the added expense of those extra tires when it's time for new ones. This truck will also be a daily driver.Your opinions please

Welcome to the site funx4me. Lots of good people around here. I have a DRW and I bought it for towing a 5er. Either one you are looking at will pull you trailer just fine, but the extra wheels will give you a little more stability. I also use mine as a daily driver and dont have problems except sometimes parking, but I park out in the boonies anyway so it dont matter ;D<br>Plus training wheels are cool too.

Get the dually, a big tag trailer like that will pull much better witha dually in front. Way more stable, and remember, the back tires won't wear as fast either cause your spreading the weight out over twice as many tires 8)

Howdy,<br> Your weight is low for a Dually BUT a 30' sail could be fun on a really windy day so I would go for the training wheels . I guess it depends on how often and how far you are towing and also if you plan on getting a bigger or heavier trailer in the future???????????. Training wheels help a lot with a longer trailer and will tend to prevent the tail from wagging the dog . Jeff
