Something new from Edge

I have heard that edge is coming out with a new chip. Somewhat simlar to the ez but hits 40 horse and is suppose to get better mileage. has anyone else heard anything about this new chip. would it be worth it if your looking for mileage to get this new product and sell the ez or what?

I have herd about it. I think it is called the mileage max chip and it is mostly for fuel mileage rather than for power gains (like the ez). The fuel curve is also different I believe.

i looked it over and if ur looking just for milage then it should be good but it seemed realy vege on its discription i didnt see a hp gain and it says a fuel gain of up to 7% but the ez says it can do 5-10% on level 1 which is a 2mpg gain at best, the quadzilla max milage is cheper and promises 4mpg and the XZT+ gives u that plus a 65 hp 200 ft lb. if i were u id do a little more serching before u go buy it

Seems like Quadzilla is stepping it up and taking over..

Especially for the 2nd gen 24 valves w/ that new race box.

I agree with swmnkdinthervr, get quads box, and they you can always upgrade it to a xzt+ down the road if you like. The great part is its updateable due to the usb port

theres a whole thred on it, if u go to the quadzilla site u can get a better discription of it but heres my breaf one, its kind of like the ez in that it has 3 settings and does not tap the pump, its more of a towing box, now the difference unlikd the ez u can switch between the 3 from inside ur truck, the levels on the XZT+ are off, max milage, and a 65 hp 200 ft lb, the last setting can be changed to and program on the XZT+ live update site. theres alot more to it that makes it better but ull have to just go to the site to read all that

Same but different

We're talkin about the same thing, but it's actually OFF--TIMING--TIMING and FUEL. Timing only will get you the better fuel mileage. Actually, I think the OFF positioin is in the middle, don't remember for sure.

The middle setting is Timing only. Same is true if you disconnect the switch completely. You get timing only.
