Some front end problems
So winter is finaly here and raods are slick, I went to use my 4x4 and there is a rubbing noise that sounds like it is coming from the front left side. This is only present when in 4x4?? Does anybody know what this sound is ? Any suggestions are appreciated

check your u joints in your axles and your front driveshaft

Mine was the front driveshaft, only when in 4x4. Cardan u-joints were both toast. Surprisingly, no problem at all when in 2x4 even though the shaft turns all the time.
Could be axle joints but they should cause issues all the time.
