So i got into a little fight with bambi's dad the other day and i did a little bit of damage to the front of the old dodge. I hit ths deer doing the usual highway speed so it got a little messy. But now i need to replace the front bumper. So i ordered a Fab fours today and i should have to by tommorow or monday and installed by next weekend. But ya ill post some pics before and after in th next few days here once i get the new bumper.

Wow-hate to see what the Audi looks like....

I have hit a grand total of one deer with the Ute bumper on the front of my truck. Rolled it back a little on the mounts, he didn't fare quite as well.

I've hit pedestrians, cops, cars, trucks, you name it, I've hit it. Grand Theft Auto counts, right?

Chris, is the frame straight on your truck? Hopefully its just the bumper, thats cheap in comparison.

Looks like just the front part of the frame is tweaked a bit, $6k in repairs.

Ouch. A couple of years ago I hit a small deer with my dodge right in the city of GP. Darn thing ran right in front of me,, looked up,, slipped on the ice, fell down, drove right over him, watched in my mirror he got up spun out on the ice, and then took off running like crazy,, no damage to my truck whatsoever,, not even hair,,,

Ya my truck not so much. It took out the front bumper and the AC condesor. But the AC still works fine, just a new dent in it but it didnt hit that hard. So i got the bumper and a new set of lights for it. Its nice. Ill post some pics sunday as its going to the welding shop to be installed onto the truck tommorow and then cut and welded cause of the body lift. But well make it work. Its a big bumper. Now i just need my 40's back on and were good to go.

I was up in Ft. Mac a few week ago and had a grouse fly into the side mirror. Mirror folded so quickly I thought it was coming in the window. New mirror installed will be $600-800. Can't buy just the housing. Stupid Ford's anyway.

Chris, do you need a fender for the repairs? My neighbour gave me a driverside fender as well as the plastic inner fender. If you need it, its yours. Also, if you can get your old intercooler fixed, you can have that back as well if you want. Surely it can be fixed for less than the price of a new one.

I came around a high speed corner on the highway north of gp a couple weeks ago and hit some nice persons quad ramps. Couldnt swerve to miss them cuz they were in my lane from the shoulder to the middle lane and there was another pickup coming my way in the other lane. they came up and smoked the back passengers side of my truck. 1300 later... im still steamed. atleast they didnt take out the chrome bumper or taillight... but its a pretty ugly dent in a flawless truck. why cant people tie their belongings down!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Yup, smoked a deer pulling the holiday trailer in the spring. Pushed the bumper into the condensor. Did I read that right? You ordered a bumper and your going to get it in a couple days? Wow, thats fast! I ordered mine 4 months ago and still waiting. I finally realized the bumper wasn't coming soon so I looped my tow strap through the bumper, hooked up to the telephone pole out front, put her in 4 low and hoped for the best. The wires were dancing pretty good but the bumper looks decent now, the neighbors thought it was pretty funny.

This is the heaviest bumper Ive come across - much heavier than even a Ranchhand. I traded my straight across for my stocker because this one was damaged. Thanks Whitmore....

It looks ok - at least it will take a hit from a good size deer. Its got fresh paint now and looks better than this, plus its mounted straight on the truck now. I still have to fab up a light bar for it.
