Smoke switch how to with pics
I can turn mine on, take off real fast, and not notice any additional smoke but then, if I let off the skinny pedal and coast for a few seconds, then floor it....I can kill every skeeter for a mile!
You dont have a 3rd gen in your sig so i was wondering what else was done to this rig. So this truck DOES have a edge ez correct, anything else fueling wise. Thanks for the write up, im not really interested as my ppe smokes like a train as is but i have a buddy with just a ez and hes interested in making it smoke like mine. Later
Seems immature to me.
On your plug for the MAP sensor, you will see a tan wire and green wire going back to the Edge with loom on it. The tan is the signal in and green is the return to the engine ECM. There is a purple wire that is the second pin from the right, that is your 5v sensor supply. You want to make the purple go to the tan. If you have it hooked up right, when you flip the switch and rev your engine the boost will peg to 35 PSI. If you hook it to the green, you will get a CEL for overboost. Any questions, feel free to PM me.
P.S. It only works when the engine is up to temp since the Edge does not start fueling till 150-160 or somewhere around there.

Besides the performance aspect, dont come up on me with your high beams on
or ride so close I cant see your headlights
and you will never know I have a smoke switch.
whada, a no smoke solution ? grab a dpf filter off a new truck and run that, with all the electronics to get it goin, and you should be good to go, mind you a full romp will choke that thing in no time.

I'm tired of all the Powerjokes around here leaving me in the smoke. I think I'm the only Cummins guy around. Still, seeing smoke from a truck is a dead give away of the age of the driver.

People take enough flak over trucks that smoke on their own let alone making them smoke.
