I can turn mine on, take off real fast, and not notice any additional smoke but then, if I let off the skinny pedal and coast for a few seconds, then floor it....I can kill every skeeter for a mile!

I have got a 04 with tst. All the wires on my tst map sensor are black. I just hook into c and d wires correct? Does it matter which way I hook them up on the switch?

You dont have a 3rd gen in your sig so i was wondering what else was done to this rig. So this truck DOES have a edge ez correct, anything else fueling wise. Thanks for the write up, im not really interested as my ppe smokes like a train as is but i have a buddy with just a ez and hes interested in making it smoke like mine. Later

I have to agree. You are modifying the truck to make thick black smoke ?? Seems immature to me.

On your plug for the MAP sensor, you will see a tan wire and green wire going back to the Edge with loom on it. The tan is the signal in and green is the return to the engine ECM. There is a purple wire that is the second pin from the right, that is your 5v sensor supply. You want to make the purple go to the tan. If you have it hooked up right, when you flip the switch and rev your engine the boost will peg to 35 PSI. If you hook it to the green, you will get a CEL for overboost. Any questions, feel free to PM me.

P.S. It only works when the engine is up to temp since the Edge does not start fueling till 150-160 or somewhere around there.

That is not the only reason for the smoke switch. It makes my turbo spool up noticeably quicker when at the strip.

Besides the performance aspect, dont come up on me with your high beams on or ride so close I cant see your headlights and you will never know I have a smoke switch.

I also agree,we all know that stricter emission standards and enforcement of,is only a matter of time and is going to shut all of us down.So why push the issue and bring it on sooner. That being said like anybody,s truck running a Smarty my truck smokes like a frieght train when the skinny pedal dictates,so I try to use it sparingly.I wish somebody would come up with a NO SMOKE switch that didnt have a negative affect on performance!

whada, a no smoke solution ? grab a dpf filter off a new truck and run that, with all the electronics to get it goin, and you should be good to go, mind you a full romp will choke that thing in no time.

I'm tired of all the Powerjokes around here leaving me in the smoke. I think I'm the only Cummins guy around. Still, seeing smoke from a truck is a dead give away of the age of the driver.
