Smarty Jr Not Working

I have my truck programed to towing and this morning I wanted to change to performance and the screen would not come up. The lights on the dash did their thing but the screen was blank.I haven't used the Smarty Jr in awhile.I came in and reprogrammed the Smarty Jr to the new program thinking it might wake it up the screen came up and it reprogrammed fine.Took it back out to the truck and still no screen .Any ideas on what is going on? I thought it may be the cable.Anybody had this problem?I sent a e-mail to Mad and they said someone in my area would contact me but nothing yet.

Thats not an issue I have heard of yet.

When you plugged it into the computer the screen worked?

I'm sure you checked but were both ends of the cable plugged in tight?

Is there anybody in your area with a dodge you can plug it into to see if it is related to the Smarty or just your truck?

Smarty Jr Not working

I checked the connections and everything is tight. I tried a hand held code reader in the emc plug and it worked fine. I guess I'll wait and see what Mad comes up with dealer wise in the Southern Maryland area. I am still leaning to the cord maybe having a bad pin. Anyone know what pin powers the Smarty Jr?
Thanks for for your help

First time I've ever heard that issue. Considering what you have said, I would lean toward a bad pin in the cable or the box.

the cigar lighter and OBDII port use the same fuse. check your fuse. if the JR screen lights up on your PC and does not light up when connected to the truck then the OBDII port is not getting power. check fuses first

Smarty Jr Not working

I did that and screen came right on . The pin on the cord if you move it back and forth it will make contact ,it is open under the molding of the plug on the ecm side.
Thanks
