true 4 door 2nd gen?

i was taking my mother to pick her car up from the dealer last week and we were in my truck, when i came up on a truck that made me look twice.

i apologize now for not having pics but i only got a quick look at it, it was a 12v (badged) 2nd gen with a true 4 door cab...the back doors were full size like the older chevy and ford crew cabs. it put the 3rd gen 4 door trucks to shame with its size too. i cant remember if it was a dually or not, but it was an older 2nd gen. looked very clean and whoever did the conversion did an awesome job and making it look factory.

That just looks goofy. There's a guy that comes to the local waco meets (and for the life of me I can't remember his name) but he drives an old 12v that his the crew cab conversion on his truck with an extra extended cab added on to it. We call it the green lizard. It's a freaking awesome looking truck.

my great-uncle (dad never told me what was so great about him) was going to get it done to his 95 ctd 10 years ago. they wanted mucho dinero and wanted to keep his truck a long time. it was his only transportation so he had to pass.

He got it done, because he had his truck built just the way he wanted it. And then he got his wife(my aunt) pregnant with triplets, so it was pretty much make a crew cab or sell it and buy a new crew cab.

There's a 2500 V10 2nd Gen truck here in asheville that is a four door long bed. The bad thing I have noticed about the truck is the rocker panels are rusted completely out on both sides under the back doors. I don't know if this is due to salt during the winter, or if the body work that was done when the cab was stretched was not done properly or maybe it's just a poor quality of metal.

It's a '96 and his name is Wayne, QuadzillaTruck on DTR. His is an extended cab plus two extra doors. He don't have pics, but I have one and will post it when it's approved.
