Re:Silencer ring

Also I forgot to ask, can this turbo be used effectively on a twin set up or do I have to buy 2 new ones.

Re:Silencer ring

I been racing turbo powered cars since 1990 now and have played with multiple air intake systems and BIg turbos over this time. Guys and gals, the smoother you can make the air enter the turbo, the less turbulant and the more efficient it is....plain and simple! If you absolutley need to hear the turbo whistle, loose the OE airbox and in-line silencer and install a BHAF....you'll hear it sing then...promise. If this doesn't get your rocks off, then upgrade to some kind of GIANT turbo off of an earth mover and enjoy....cheers!

Re:Silencer ring

Its a total rice mod that just makes your truck louder. But if you need to hear that turbo any louder than it is, go ahead and remove the ring!
