Gauge Question

Installed my pyro and fuel pressure along with my a-pillar housing today. The FP gauge is not operational yet because I'm waiting for a pre tapped banjo bolt to come in the next day or two. During my research on how to install the FP sending unit, I noted a 2 or 3 inch section of rubber fuel line with factory clamps between the lift pump and the injector pump. Why couldn't we place a simple tee in this break in the metal fuel line? I'm going to install mine where the schrader valve is on my injection pump, but if the tee would work, why isn't anyone doing it that way? Or am I simply having another brain fart?

Re:Gauge Question

Its easier just to put it where the schrader was. IMO.
